The oldest player in his senior softball league is Paul Tomanio, who was 86 when this video was made in 2017. The league has 8 teams with player ages starting at 55. But Paul is the oldest player.

His wife calls his team “The Old Farts.” “Well,” says Paul, in this Wall Street Journal piece, “we are old.”

Paul’s been playing softball for 72 years but he likes playing with the younger guys because “it’s more action.” Watching this YouTube video it looks to me like Paul still has the moves to hang with those younger guys.
