Mike admits he is seeing someone now that he is officially and legally single. Even though he likes eating and sleeping whenever he wants.

“And yet, I’m seeing someone. Why? Because I like her even more than I like my cavalier freedom.”

He writes how one of the main problems is that he is set in his ways.

“The same could be said of most single women my age. After 60, we geezers just want to be left alone to do our own thing.”

Mike says the couple is taking things slowly but yet can’t wait to see one another.
